Marquette University High School Virtual 360° Interactive Tour

ia/ux/ui | art direction/design | illustration

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Marquette University High School required a new way to reach prospective parents and students when in-school tours couldn’t happen.

The Hilltopper Home Tour is chock full of user-immersive digital experiences, including curated video content and stunning 360° images. It provides a seamless welcome to future MUHS students with personalized tours and engaging gamification components such as a virtual avatar creator and an in-site scavenger hunt that users can complete to redeem MUHS spirit wear. Meanwhile, parents can take their own tours and gain valuable insights into student life, the admissions process, and all of the unique opportunities their sons will gain access to as MUHS students. The virtual tour resulted in a 9% increase in applications from the previous year.

My role? I was part of the team that brainstormed creative solutions. As a UX designer, I lead the team in developing and designing the entire experience. As an art director and designer, I developed the look and feel of the virtual tour and illustrated all of the icons, badges and achievements.
